Are issue was very hard well water. Culligan installed a water softner to treat our well water several years ago. The problem was the softner would get clogged up due to sediment coming up from the well. This would clog the softner and create $200 service calls for them to come out and re pack the softner. Great for Culligan and not great for the customer. Seems like a simple idea to run the well water through a filter before the softner to avoid that problem. So are business with Culligan is done and set their equipment on the street.
